Jason Vanhof has been a resident of the Dallas community for many years. He aspires to join the Dallas City Council in efforts to help solve current issues that affect the greater general public of Oak Cliff, Dallas District One. With his educational background in Cloud System Operations, Vanhof has the ability to aggregate data sets provided by the City of Dallas that will allow him to make informed decisions based on historical facts. Also, this knowledge base will empower Vanhof to represent his constituents effectively. Additionally, Jason Vanhof's background includes working for Michelin Star Chefs and renowned local establishments during his career in hospitality and will help represent restaurateurs as the food and beverage industry continues to recover from tremendous loss during the pandemic. Further, Mr. Vanhof has a background in Real Estate and is familiar with real estate zoning and contract law which will help him make informed and responsible decisions on zoning ordinances as Oak Cliff, District 1 grows.
Most notably, Jason Vanhof is not backed by any Political Action Committees (PACs) or Corporate Developers in the Oak Cliff, Dallas District One City Council race. Likewise, this will allow Vanhof to make ethical decisions that truly represent his constituents desire to conserve traditional values within our historic neighborhoods without compromise due to outside financial influences. Mr. Vanhof understands that a slower design process in architectural development and growth will blend more harmoniously with the current aesthetics of Oak Cliffs historical zoning practices and further enrich our community. Additionally, Vanhof appreciates current property owners investments in sweat equity that contributes to a more sustainable, eclectic, and prosperous future for the residents of Oak Cliff District 1.
